DO YOU HAVE A C.L.U.E. ABOUT THE RENTAL YOU'RE PURCHASING?

Always order a CLUE report when considering a rental house you are planning to buy. You should ask the seller for a CLUE report. CLUE stands for Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange reports.

Insurance companies use this information to set insurance premiums. Many times claims regarding mold, water damage in the house can be revealed.  Knowing this information is important, and could increase the premiums you would be charged for insurance. Normally a buyer is unable to get a report. You will have to ask the seller.

However, you can get one free report a year at WWW.CHOICETRUST.COM. Click on C.L.U.E. reports on the left.  Personal information about other individuals can also be obtained for a fee.
